Romeo and Juliet are MIA

Romeo spent two days here and he helped me out a lot.  He spent the night on December 30th and was also here on December 31st.

It struck me that he looked familiar and the more I thought about it...the more I recalled that I saw him in the lot that houses the corral and that he often was grazing too close to the road and was not tied down.

Juliet was not happy when Romeo disappeared from her sight.

Because of the sun and the cheap cellphone, I was not able to make out that her water barrel was downed.

A great little worker he was.

As you can tell he left me a LOT of fertilizer. Also, note all the prickly bushes.

On December 31st Romeo went back to Juliet so they could ring in the New Year together.  I am so sorry I did not upload these pictures until January or I would have gone and taken Juliet some water like I used to do with Walter.

I went looking for them on January 1, 2020, but neither one was at the corral nor have I seen them since.

Blanca came for a visit!

On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, I was hanging laundry when I spotted Paquito leisurely sunning on top of the cinder block fence.  How in the world did he get there so fast when he was just by my feet? Turned around and there he was six feet from me as the little bell his purple collar has was ringing as he scratched and groomed himself.

I could not believe it...it was Blanca...Momma Cat!!!  She is Paquito and Nico's mother.  She is totally white and now as fat as Paquito the only difference she has two yellowish eyes while my Paquito only has one blue eye.

I so wanted to take her picture but my cellphone died on me and I have never gotten around to setting up a camera I bought TWO Black Fridays ago...I am not exaggerating when I call myself...the Queen of Procrastination.

Paquito spotted her at the same time and wanted to go run her off...yeah right...she would kick his fat behind!  Scooped him up and brought him into the kitchen so Blanca could come to eat and not hurt him.  He always wants to run into the kitchen but today, of course, he wanted to be outside...silly cat!

I went back outside to make sure she did not hurt Nico or Katie.  She has not changed a bit is still hissing her head off at any cat that comes near her.  I really thought she was dead...I have not seen her in months. She seems to be in good shape as she still remembers where she used to live and where her kids now live.
