Blanca sporting her new flea collar

Lately, Blanca (momma cat) comes to eat and then wants to hang around.  She is so mean to her kids Paquito and Nico that they do not want anything to do with her.

Sonny, who is nothing to her has been confronting her a lot lately and chasing her away.

Just like other times I have tried to post a video here to no avail.  It now tells me it has uploaded but I still can not see it :-(

I was very happy to see that someone has taken pity upon Blanca and placed a flea collar on her.  She is not going to let you near her unless she trusts you.  I knew right away who so generously bought her one.  It has to be our neighbor three lots down and her daughter who love animals in particular strays as much as I do.

More hunting for the boys / Little horse

I have gotten behind on my postings.  The boys have been hunting a lot lately.  Wish they would not bring what they catch to the kitchen porch for me to see.  Why can't they just eat it somewhere else?

Took this picture of Paquito before he started making this horrible sound and ended up vomiting it...YUK!!!

It grossed me out so I went inside the house.  Later on, when I came back all this was gone so at least he or the other cats ate his left-overs.

Last week was the first time I noticed a little horse in the corral where Walter used to stay until they sold him.  His owner kept a white horse that I presumed was another boy...guess I presumed wrong.

Looking South to where Walter's corral now has
some new tenants.

I will have to go check it out after Pollito mows the weeds.  There was a lot of rumbling this afternoon just hope it doesn't rain anymore.

Nico the hunter

I was looking out the window when I saw Nico pawing at something and then chasing it.  I went to go hang some items on the clothesline and it soon became clear what his prey was.

He seemed very proud of himself as I was...I hate mice and snakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe what a fat little sucker he was....ewwwwww!!!

He took a couple of bites off of it and then left it alone.  I scolded him because I was not about to have to pick up this darn rat even with a shovel...I had more than enough with the dead snake.

For some reason neither Paquito or Sonny were around.  The next time I went outside those two had returned and had finished this rat off to my delight.

I took a short video but surprise surprise...I do not know how to upload it :-(
