Katie has been missing all day and I do not know why but I think she might have given birth to her new brood. All three cats Paquito, Nico, and Katie are overweight. The last time Katie was pregnant I never saw it coming as unlike some cats she does not expand sideways but carries them on her lower abdomen.
I am not saying she is pregnant but she is overweight. It has been a while since she has gone missing and she rarely skips a meal. Only time will tell.
My fat boys and the smaller cats have been getting a lot of exercise lately. The annual migration of snout-nosed butterflies is in full swing and now some medium-sized yellow ones have also made an appearance. They have been chasing them all over the place.
Some afternoons I sit under the cover of the back patio as our temperatures are still in the high 80's to low 90's during the day and just watch them run, climb trees, and play amongst themselves. In some ways, it is therapeutic and relaxing.

Katie showed up this morning for breakfast and as far as I could tell (won't let me near her) she is not pregnant or has given birth.
DeleteI still do not know the sex of her two cats but Katie is priority number one to get spayed as soon as the border with Mexico opens to non-essential travel.
