My little girls turned out to be "lousy" mothers...

When Blanca had Nico, Paquito, and Rudy she was a good mom, in particular, the first few weeks after they were born she would only come to eat in the morning and in the afternoon then would hurry back to take care of her litter.

Katie was an equally responsible momma that took good care of Bonnie Mae and Mauricio (I have to change that name). Is it perhaps because it is the first litter for both girls?

This is how irresponsible they are...Mauricio allowed her sister to take her kittens along with the ones she had just had...except for one of them whom she kept for herself. Even only having one kitten she doesn't pay much attention to him or her. 

I had washed the linens and placed them back in the cucha and the kitten was smelling it.

He/she is so cute but why is this the only kitten Mauricio is taking care of?  She had four or at least I photographed four (see prior post).

I was able to move him/her to a temporary cucha while I put on the clean bedding.  I also played with him/her and petted it.💖

That was the last time he/she was in the cucha as Mauricio moved him/her to the water heater closet...to keep me away?

Both girls spend their time sunning themselves, going up and down the trees, and running on the roof and very little time with their brood.  Babies having babies. 😢
