My little Walter

Looked everywhere for my Rudy :-(

As soon as the sun came up I bundled up and once again went looking for my Rudy.  Both Paquito and Nico followed me.  I am sure they know what happened to him, too bad they can not relay that information to me.

We went to the Northern part of the property next to my lot. That lot is a terrible mess and this is where the cats were born last year. It will have to be tackled next...

Then headed to the neighbor's corral that borders Mom's Southern property where Walter used to live but now has a new tenant.

I asked him as well if he had seen Rudy...but it appeared he was just happy that someone came to visit him or her...have no idea what his sex might be.

This does not give me much hope. Tomorrow I will try something else.  If you have seen this cat please drop me a line.

He now sports a reddish metallic collar, not the one on this picture.

Rudy is missing

This is the second day that Rudy has been a no show.  He has never done that before.  Went and looked all over the property for him but he was nowhere to be found. Walked to the gate to see if someone had run him over in the street but thankfully that was not the case.

Rudy (named after Spurs basketball player Rudy Gay) is a very quiet and loveable cat.  He is not one to go exploring or roaming.  Hope he returns home soon.

Jackson Galaxy - the cat whisperer

A couple of months back I was flipping through channels when the name of a show caught my eye.  "The Cat from Hell" I only watched two or three episodes this was prior to Paquito's "spraying issues".

Today they had marathon episodes of this show.  I learned a lot, first, it does not matter if your cat is spayed/neuter or male/female.  Most spray (pee) because they have other issues going on.  In comes Jackson Galaxy the cat whisperer and works with their owners to address their particular issues.

My goodness in comparison I do not have ANY problems!  I have no idea how the pet owners portrayed in the show put up with their cats.  One lady had her cat pee on her head while she slept not once but multiple times like over ten times.

Others were attacked and actually afraid of their cat.  I love animals but if they had done to me what their cats did to them...they would be gone!!!

They addressed problems that I never considered cats had like strokes and mental illness.  If you have a cat even if they are not problematic, I would recommend this show.

I am so disappointed with Paquito

I am so disappointed with Paquito. I am closer to him than to the other cats because he has had so many health issues. I have taken him to the veterinarian more times than I care to remember.

The kitchen is located in the back part of the house as it was a later addition.  I can also close the door blocking it off from the rest of the house. This is important because my mother is allergic to pet dander.

Paquito eats more than all the other cats combined. Even though he is full he parks himself by the kitchen door that leads to the porch and as soon as I open it he rushes in wanting even more food. If I do not give it to him he starts crying so loud if you did not know any better you would think he has not eaten in days.

I frequently have to go outside to hang clothes, water the plants, etc etc.  Rudy my other cat does not eat much and lately has been sleeping a lot and sneezing as he has a cold. I have been letting him come inside since it is warmer and been feeding him canned cat food and leftovers. He is sweet, well behaved and very lovable.

Well, Paquito was not having any of it...he rushed in pushed him aside and ate Rudy's food.  If that was not enough he hid under the table where I keep some of my many boxes. I finally kicked him out only to find that he had sprayed his scent.

I was so mad, had to wipe down the kitchen cabinets, mop the floors and take some of my boxes outside. I have enough work as it is without adding more to my To Do list.

He is banned from ever coming inside!
