Chester makes Ten!

I have blogged about Chester before...whom I just recently named...I would previously refer to him as the big white cat with beige circles and loud meows.

He had such a big neck that his owners placed a dog collar on him. He would come around every once in a while but he did have a home. A couple of weeks back he started coming around once more but this time he was thinner, his neck had a laceration, and he no longer wore a collar or tag.

My cats do not like him except for Muñeca (she likes everyone) and sometimes Bonnie MaeMr. Nicolás is definitively NOT a fan and neither is cat momma Luna. He is a peaceful cat and poor Chester is being constantly picked on by the other cats. He used to retreat with Bonnie Mae to the adjacent vacant lot (owned by me) but now he stays here. That is causing more fights among them but there is nothing I can do about that.

Here his left cheek is swollen but it happened elsewhere
 when he first started coming.

For those that are new to this blog, I need to mention that while the City of Del Rio has an Animal Shelter they do not take in animals from the County. The same goes for the two private shelters.

I have established rules and Chester seems to understand that he will be fed on the back porch while the others are fed on top of dad's old car (it takes longer for the ants to climb up there) and Nicolás is the only one allowed to eat in the kitchen.

I now have seven cats, two kittens, and Chester makes ten!

Thank you for visiting Walter's World.
